i create sales order and booked ,now i decrement the sale line quantities is it considered as cancelled of quantities i decremented . for example i booked line with 10 quantities now i decrement the 5 quantities is it mean that remanining is cancelled ...

No in oracle terms As per your example, customer has ordered 10 quantities. After that the customer called you & said I want to cancel 5 quantities (reduced by 5). You ‘ll reduce the line qty to 5 if it’s not picked. If the customer says I want to cancel all the 10 quantities then you can cancel the line.
